Is the hike to Rainbow Mountain difficult?

The hike is of moderate difficulty. The main challenge is the altitude (over 5,000 m), so acclimatization in Cusco is recommended.

No. The hike is done at a steady pace and the guide assists the group at all times.

When is the best time to visit Vinicunca?

From April to October during the dry season, with better weather and visibility.

What should I bring for the tour?

Warm clothing, trekking shoes, a hat, gloves, sunscreen, water, and a small backpack.

Can I rent a horse during the hike?

Yes. Horse rental is available on site and is not included in the tour.
