Begin your exploration of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, one of the most emblematic and culturally rich regions of Peru.

Chinchero – Traditional Andean Village (3,762 m)
Located about 30 km from Cusco, Chinchero is known as the “Village of the Rainbow” thanks to its spectacular Andean landscapes. A former Inca and colonial urban center, the site preserves important agricultural terraces, Inca architectural remains, and a 17th-century colonial church built on Inca foundations.
You will also discover the ancestral Andean textile tradition, including spinning and natural dyeing of wool, a knowledge passed down from generation to generation.

Moray – Inca Agricultural Laboratory
Continue to Moray, a unique archaeological site famous for its concentric circular terraces. Used as an agricultural research center during the Inca period, Moray allowed experimentation with different crops by creating natural microclimates adapted to variations in altitude and temperature.

Maras Salt Mines – Living Heritage
Visit the impressive Maras salt mines, made up of more than 3,000 salt ponds of approximately 5 m² each. Fed by a hypersaline underground spring dating back over 110 million years, these salt mines are still exploited using traditional methods unchanged since pre-Inca times, offering a remarkable testimony to local know-how.

After lunch, we will resume our journey with about a 30-minute drive to our next destination.

Ollantaytambo – Fortress and Living Inca City
Known as the “Temple of the Llama,” Ollantaytambo is one of the few remaining inhabited Inca towns, with its original urban layout exceptionally well preserved. Visit its vast archaeological complex featuring monumental agricultural terraces, ceremonial enclosures, and the famous Temple of the Sun, built with enormous stone blocks transported from quarries located several kilometers away.

Train to Aguas Calientes
In the late afternoon, departure by train at 4:36 p.m. to Aguas Calientes, the gateway town to Machu Picchu.
Transfer to the hotel is included. Dinner is at leisure and at the client’s expense.

Information Meeting
In the evening, meet with your professional specialized guide, who will provide all necessary information and prepare you for the visit to Machu Picchu the following day.

After breakfast, departure by shuttle bus (approx. 30 minutes) from Aguas Calientes to the Machu Picchu Sanctuary.

You will be accompanied by a professional private guide for approximately 2h30 for an in-depth visit of this mysterious and fascinating Inca citadel.
During the tour, you will discover the most iconic areas: the Mausoleum, the Temple of the Three Windows, the Main Temple, the Sacred Plaza, the famous Intihuatana (Inca solar observatory), as well as stairways, fountains and terraces.

After the guided visit, enjoy free time to explore the site at your own pace and take photos.
Return by shuttle to Aguas Calientes, followed by free time to enjoy local cuisine.

At 2:30 p.m., train departure from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo (approx. 1h40).
Upon arrival, tourist bus transfer to Cusco (approx. 1h30).
Estimated arrival in Cusco around 7:00 p.m. – Av. El Sol N° 843, Cusco.
